Just did a makeover of my very first character, a pyromancer before AoM even came out. It was pretty dire. There were 2 or 3 points in every skill (including pets), health was below 6k at level 77, I'm afraid to even check the death count. If it weren't so easy to respec, I would've just deleted it.

I know Olexa's resist debuff is tied to the freeze, which makes it mostly useless against bosses that have +500% freeze resist/reduction anyway. But what happens if freeze with Olexa, then apply a new freeze from another source (like Trozan's). Does it overwrite the existing freeze and remove the debuff prematurely, or does it extend the duration of the existing debuff?

Shadows awakening does. A couple of the souls you can enslave are hero versions of common enemies. You get the base enemy with a hefty stat boost and can unlock the additonal skills the hero had in life.

Grim Dawn is one of those pieces of software that exists to provide a selection and an alternative. Uninspired and seemingly not even interested in itself it sure fills some sort of a niche for a few select, like the developers. Not sure, that the developers wanted to play a video game exactly how it turned out it to be. Offline, moddable, are all a big plus. Original story, that is sadly not interesting, nor captivating. The atmoshpere lacks the feeling of presence, the game does not immerse the player (at least me). Leaves the overall impression of being a subpar clone of some product, what the youngsters call a temu version. Grim Dawn has tried, but failed. A sad story.

This ended up being the fire commando I beat the Loghorrean with on ultimate. Died once after being a dumbass and not capping my resistances but other than that was pretty easy. Damage did start to feel kind of poor towards the end. Not sure where I'm gonna take it from here set wise. The skill point allocation is unoptimised.
