>you have to walk up to every corpse and press "delete corpse" in a menu, otherwise the game shits itself, because the devs couldn't figure out how to despawn entities
>this is shilled as some kind of classic
Has there ever been a bigger LARP in gaming culture?

Did you play on X-Box like a retard or something? At no point has one ever been required to remove corpses, even in 2002. The game ran like shit at the time because of its janky unoptimized engine, not because of corpses.

what?
corpses disappear after 3 days in any dungeon bro
only overworld and non-dungeon interiors don't disappear, are you going around fucking killing everything?

It's now proven you can post the silliest bait, and get someone arguing

Whatever, Morrowind thread.I had completely underestimated the Serpent birthsign. Sure it's not optimal but it's very good especially at very low levels. I had fun assassinating some foes beyond my means with it.
>Enter empty side room and drink a Mark potion
>Leave the room and cast Lock on it for 1 Magicka point
>Get up to the target and cast Star-Curse
>Drink a Recall potion to teleport inside the locked room
>Enemy slowly dies banging at a door he cannot open
This game is alright.

Might as well buy some scrolls and nuke everything. You are missing the point.

>Sounds plausible
It’s extremely lazy bait.
>at least as powerful as the average household PC
It wasn’t.

i actually remember disposing of corpses triggering crashes, so i avoided doing it. saving the game while in an exterior also came with a high chance of crash and save corruption. all on Xbox, of course.

I remember my game crashing back in the day and gamefaqs told me that was the issue.

I am coming back here like a hundred fucking times.
I am so mad.
I am so fucking mad at the Camonna Tong.
They don’t do this to fucking me.
I am going to fucking ritualistically humiliate myself.
I am coming back here every fucking weekend if I have to.
Like this is never over.
I will join the Camonna Tong!
They won't refuse!
That’s how Morrowind fucking works.
Little fucking khajits.
They get ruled by people like me. Little fucking Argonians... I fucking ... my ancestors fucking enslaved those little pieces of fucking shit.
I rule fucking Vardenfell.
Those pieces of fucking shit get ruled by people like me.
They look up and see a face like mine looking down at them.
That’s how the fucking world works.
We are going to fucking drive out the imperial mongrels.

For folks who play with a focus on only one/two guilds per playthrough.... What will poisonsong focus on?

I played this game for thousands of hours on my family's shitty Windows 98 PC, and I never once had this problem. If I'm not mistaken, killing the NPCs and having them laying on the ground takes up less memory than those same characters standing around while alive.
However, I do remember the load times going between different areas and outside regions being ridiculous.

have you tried not playing the game on an emachine?

People claim magic is broken but you know what really IS broken? Crime. You walk into a vivec vault. You hit it with aoe open spell from some broom closet. You waltz into the storage room with 10 ordinators and all the treasures. Everyone just ignores you. You cast chameleon 100 1 second and just steal everything. Everyone just stares at you, some random dude who just walked into a treasury and keeps blinking in and out of visibility, as treasures disappear around them. There needs to be a mod where trespass is a crime and you need to stealth all the way in. They have it in tamriel rebuilt in ebon tower, it just makes a thief build make so much more sense.

>doesnt know wtf hes talking about
>likely hasnt even played it himself
>makes a thread anyways
now THERES a fucking classic
which jewtuber told you this is how it works?the funny thing is, it actually wouldnt have been a bad idea on quest related NPCs to do this, because you can forget to pick up a quest item, leave/rest for a few days, and then be unable to finish the quest properly

Or like, check if PC was seen in an interior cell, if yes, stealing doesn't trigger immediate response if not caught red handed, but there's a chance you get a bounty a few days later.
