I just looked at the top row and it's pretty good. I've played all the games in that row except for Jagged Alliance and Witcher 3, and the only game there that I didn't really enjoy is BG2. If I made my own top 10 RPGs list it would be pretty similar to the top row

It's really hard to make a top 100 RPG list because most RPGs are bad. It's a genre with a lot of potential that very rarely reaches that potential. There's a very good reason that most of the most beloved RPGs are the ones which hybridise with other genres and therefore dodge the pitfalls of boring gameplay and mucho texto.

My top 10 favorite western RPGs 1. Baulders gate 2 2. Fallout 1 3. Divine divinty 4. Pathfinder kingmaker 5. Divinty original sin 2 6. Fallout 2 7. Baulders gate 1 8. Fallout New Vegas 9. Pathfinder wotr 10. Kotr It's a pretty normie list all things considered besides maybe divine divinty which I consider to be the most underrated gem of all time. But I like them, tried most of these games on this list, half of them I wouldn't even consider RPGs like diablo 2? And if we are counting diablo 2 as an RPG it's easily more fun than like 90% of the games in the top 2 rows, why the fuck is it so low? Planescape is really boring Gothic 2 is overrated I just couldn't get into vampire and prob should try again
