I thought I liked Tyranny but replaying this mess of an expansion I'm second guessing the fond memories I have for the whole game.

the writing in the whole game is trash and once you realize it's all ripped off from black company it gets even worse. there are some good concepts, but it fails completely as a game.

I loved Tyranny but it's sad how rushed it is towards the end. It has some of the best magic gameplay I've played and I find the world and the way it was presented really engaging. Sadly, it's stuck forever with Paradox and we will never get an enhanced edition or a sequel.
