So other than Janice with double swords, Kelly with double guns, and Shiki for starting with time magic it doesn't matter who you give what skills/weapons to, right? Like everyone is pretty much mechanically identical barring 1 or 2 stat points?

How do I do this stupid jump challenge? I am using the charge action to get there and attempting to mid air jump but I just seem to fall down instead of jumping. When I don't dash i can jump but of course not high enough.
