development hell so they cheaped out and used what 11 had built. The optimized way to play gets boring for sure. Just make a bunch of paladins and ignore most abilities.

Babby’s first programmingI wouldn’t have minded any of it if the game itself was actually interesting. No game has ever left as bad of a taste in my mouth after finishing it than FFXII. It was a colossal disappointment in every feasible metric except for it being a technical marvel. It’s easily one of the absolute best looking games on the PS2.
