Man when they added Ancient I really liked the map but everytime I play against a team who knows what they're doing it becomes painfully obvious the map is lacking in depth and options. They literally spam the same util, run the same routes and yet there's seemingly next to nothing you can do since the game is just about who gets to hold mid and lane first

You can't avoid talking about esport since the late CSGO portion and the whole CS2 is developed and maintained to cater the esport scene. CS peaked in 2017 when we had asymmetrical maps like Austria, Biome, Canals, Log, Marquis, Tulip, Zoo, Lake House, Bank, Safehouse.

I'm a little confused. Whenever I encountered 15k or 20k+ in Comp it felt like facing demons with wallhacks. Now that I went past 10k I play with a lot of 15-20k+ and it doesn't feel crazy different to when I was around 8-10k. Weirdly it frequently slots me as the low ranked player in the match while everyone else is way higher quite often. I think I'm just playing at a bad time in NA West (few games after work at ~1pm)
