ReSkate\Engine\Core\Text\word_filter.cpp replace that file with the contents here https://klipit.in/qxo53526 then you're gonna need to build it, which requires Visual Studio 2022 (v14.44-17.14) which you can get here: https://my.visualstudio.com/Downloads?q=visual%20studio%202022&wt.mc_id=o~msft~vscom~older-downloads [Build Tools for Visual Studio 2022 (17.14)] once you load up that exe, it loads up a sort of 'installer gui' where you can go to individual packages and click ONLY the one that says: "MSVC v14 - VS 2022 C++ x64/x86 build tools (v14.44-17.14)" as well as: "Windows 11 SDK" and: "C++ CMake tools for Windows"THIS IS TO SAY, you only have to really do this if you're on win10 / win11 i guess, you probably already know what you're doing if you're on linux/macOS? Maybe idk But after doing that you can open the folder downloaded from the git page without even forking it - open it in VSC (I dont use normal Visual Studio its bloat as fuck) and then cmake configure, then cmake build to build it up. I'm currently running the build myself so i'll let you know if this works but it should honestly work with no problem, but i'd test on an alt steam account (for slurs, etc) if you're worried

After a bunch of fiddling I'm getting close to acceptable visuals with the VR mod. As well as the game runs normally, rendering everything twice does seem to be a bit taxing even on my 9070xt + 7800x3d but I might just not have my shit dialed in very good yet (plus my refusal to drop the game's graphics settings below ~high, and being a retard on linux). Very fucking cool though. I'll figure out how to record some clips soon, hopefully can tweak things to be a bit smoother and clearer. I've also had some issues streaming from the included router dongle I need to figure out, it's overall super clear and smooth but with latency spikes every couple minutes.

Getting close to dialed in with the VR setup on the Frame. Obviously the FoV looks way more sane in headset, but interestingly I still experience some very annoying jitter with the headtracking that doesn't show here. Maybe some kind of refresh rate/game camera sync issue or something? Thought I had that sorted out but I guess it gives me a lead. Still figuring out and testing recording but I'll try to get a couple cool clips soon. I was playing seated in this test recording, standing is way better so you can properly look down and around, turning a bit with your 180s makes it feel and look way better, and prevents the weird effect at :53. Despite the head tracking shakiness problem it's still so fucking cool and fun, and I'm sure I can fix that fairly soon. https://streamable.com/1t5pij
