[/vm/thread/2897272#p2924494] its very easy, but you should get the skillbook, it makes it was less tedious >collect watches, hair irons, remotes, pagers, calculators, etc. anything that has a dismantle crafting option, easily checked with right-click menu. soon you will memorize these. >go find a safe spot with a screwdriver, sit and dismantle everything this is the slow and safe way >go into buildings, dismantle phones/wall lamps/televisions/ceiling lights/computers this is the faster, slightly less safe way >find VHS tapes this is the easiest way, is heavily RNG dependent, and you should get the mod that shows you what skills VHS tapes trainbut read the skillbook first. thankfully it's very common.

the roman empire conquered the entire known world and they did it largely without spear formations or cavalry. they had spears but they used them to guard against flanking maneuvers by opponents with cavalry. the killing engine of the roman military was 120 dudes in a square, carrying shields big enough to cover their entire body, 2 javelins ftw, and a short sword for stabbing.spearcucks btfo.

There are a lot of systems, but when you delve into them you see they are unrealised. I think the nutrition one is a good example. It tracks kcals, proteins, lipids and carbs, ok. But none of it really matters outside protein, which has a weird window of 50-300 to keep it in for a bonus, but every diet in the game will probably end in you at 1000 protein unless you live solely on vegetables. And the weight of micromanaging this bogs you down to where you wonder why youre doing it. And by default the game doesnt show you the carb protein or lipid stats you have! What a cluster Its like this for a lot of systems, and then there are systems you expect to be in the game but are not. Plumbing barely exists and has arbitrary 3 tile rules for rain catchers, so middle of the house bathrooms on the 1st floor cant be done. There is no heating system if you restore power but the game has harsh winter. Agriculture is full on realistic but you would need to survive 1 full year before you can start doing it due to the month default starts. On and on Still playing tho
