Reminder to study every vehicle's armor layout in the armor viewer. Some vehicles have "Critical hit" modules where you deal more damage from shooting them. Others have fuel tanks that set them on fire. Knowing where to shoot is also just nice.

I'm quite happy with the speed of progression, i'm a little worried though because the game doesn't seem to be very monetised at all, which is a good thing for us but Gaijin bailed on one of their early access titles because it wasn't generating any money, the mech one I can't remember the name of, though I doubt these devs will cut their losses and will instead go down with the ship I also don't see how this game will make any profit to keep it going unless they introduce atleast a battlepass system. I don't want it but it's a necessity for a live service game, you can't rely on Founder Packs forever.

Well ive done this. im like 25k away from unlocking my next tank through grinding which is the alecto which im not really looking forward to playing. Here are my thoughtsI started with the maul and its a fun tank. Im reminded of beta era WoT german tanks. I always felt they were superior to the soviet tanks because you could angle the front armor and bait shots much easier. Its waaaay faster than the legally distinct maus, which makes it decent for aggressive play. Its ram does good damage, its gun is mediocre. Fun tank, its dependency on close range makes it easy to just be out of position with though.Then i played the ark. This thing is amazing. You can set up with good firing lines, hide in a bush, and support your team in two directions. Its like a no hassle tank destroyer in WoT. Definitely good for solo random games. I can see it being more mediocre if you have a team full of more specialized tanks that actually use their niches properly. But for hanging back and reversing an enemy push because your team is garbage by just killing the enemy as they are pushing its amazing.Then i did the valor. Its a medic tank. Its a decent tank. It feels like the most generic tank possible in a tank game tuned slightly weak, but which can heal. It has curved rounded armor that you cannot reliably present to an enemy but which will randomly bounce things as you move around. Once you get it upgraded you get to do a good balance of shooting stuff to make energy to heal people with. Ive seen people not play aggressive enough with these. Its not so good for playing random solo with though because while its decent at fighting if your team is useless you arent going to out heal fate. Its very good if you have a few people playing well and flanking/supporting each other. You can fall in and keep them alive.

sitting in the back with a sniper lets you cover multiple directions. team mates need to learn not to push outside of fire support and instead try to bait enemies in to the fields of fire. its a WoT clone playing defensively wins unless your team defends so stupidly a cap rush works
