In Stygian, with 20 Spear Mastery, my Mighty Throws were hitting for ~110-140, lowest usually in the 80s and if I got lucky my highest were 160s.

How did people hit high hero ranks back in the day? If I remember correctly, having even r3 or r4 meant that you were a very good player, and people wouldn't pick you up in the HA outpost if you didn't have at least r2. I was too young to ever get into that back then, but just had a thought that you had to be playing HA 24/7 as you would get full, coordinated teams already at the first game. Unlike now when it's bots until HoH (if at all).

I'm sure this topic was brought up in this general at least few times at that point, but oh boy, it's really hard to not see in Reforged anything but a scam. The game existed for a whole year at this point, and they didn't add anything to it but half-baked new hub in pre-raped Ascalon, few quests connected to it, and...it's basically all that matter. Surely if they wanted to sell people a 20-year old game for triple the price they could at least make dlc-exclusive classes accessible for all campaigns(surely putting some new trainers there and there couldn't be that much of a impossible task) or something equally cool.

I started playing again since GW3 is coming and I'm having so much fun. I quit last time when I started unlocking heroes because I thought I had to actually make one of every profession to learn the skills. It only took me like an hour of running around to get all the skills I needed. I'm a fucking idiot. But, desu, I'm glad I waited because the new dungeon made LDoA super fast and my end goal is GWAMM for the GW2 title.

Thinking of making my first presearing char, I see people say ranger or ele is best (I have no bonus weaps just the imp) but the latest patch buffed necro so I was thinking that instead (seems cooler). Is this a good idea? What would be viable pre searing builds/secondaries for Necro? I’m guessing it’s between N/E or N/M?
