I feel like I forgot the rhythm to this mode and droning, having big weapon right away in turf also spoiled me. Also fun discovery you can easily ruin the enemies parry with Volt Slash.

Man, Turnabout Guard on Beast actually feels pretty good. Love tanking a rocket and ignoring everything my opponents do until they mess up and get caught. It's keeping me alive in yo-yo mode surprisingly often too. I'm missing the ninjutsu and energy from Berserker though

Part 2 will likely be large-scale DLC, although it sounds like it'll be a ways off if they're still not even sure about that. They also explained why there's no Ninjala 1 and Ninjala 2 crossover stuff

Feels like they're pushing it harder in the west considering how many little things we're getting first. Also, that plushie weapon on Lucy's art seems to have been replaced with a regular Scrap Saber here so I guess that was just an early design

Oh yeah on the topic of tech and stuff. Echoing Scream immediately interrupts someone using the Barrier burst. I never really thought to try it because it seemed pointless, but apparently they're vulnerable to shock on frame 1 of throwing the barrier away. So they go through the animation but the attack never goes through. Useful on all the kids spamming barrier with SKX.
