>tf2, over 700 hours on it
>mic spams here and there in game out of boredom but still plays game normally
>gets random game ban one day for cheating despite not having any cheats installed
>very clearly pissed off but appeals the bans anyway
>valve's unban system doesn't work no matter what you say to it it just auto-ignores you
>turns out i am not the only one and there is an entire group of people emerging where they got falsely banned by valve as well
>also banned from cs:source, hl2:deathmatch and other source mp games because fuck you right? haha
>year later abandons steam account with over 100 games because 1 game ban is enough to ruin an entire account
why doesn't the unban system work anons? what to do if falsely banned is it just a boy who cried wolf scenario, i am not the only one to get this happened to as well and i have some seriously good steam games as well but everytime someone checks my profile they see a game ban so what the hell is the point of playing anything on steam now?

also as far as i am aware it was probably the trans employees who banned certain people over "hate speech" when there is no such thing as hate speech existing, I was an annoying cunt on the mic but at least I never broke ToS.
I still mourn for my TF2 main account a year later.

Buddy of mine had this happen, he plays dota, got a like 70 year ban (NOTE, NOT A VACBAN) for 'cheating'. Saw it while he was streaming over discord it was the funniest shit in the world. Angry trannies can ban you for hatespeech but if you keep appealing it someone will see it, same buddy got unbanned in 2024 so just keep trying. Valve fired a bunch of monsanto interns over this shit and they're blacklisted from the industry now.

it is a mix of faggots reporting accounts for false reasons, "hate speech," plus something being off with valve ban systems (mostly because u cannot refute steam bans in source games from what i know, you have to ask the help center instead in the settings and cross your fingers to hope to get unbanned).If you can't normally refute a game ban and have to go to some other setting to do so then that is the equivalent of slapping a band-aid on a wound you need to get stitches for, steam is damn near perfect except for some of the multiplayer systems behind it, and trannies/fags of course but those infest everything.
