While it is true Crapcom can't be relied upon to deliver proper content, fortunately for us the autism of modders can.The first public release of the biggest DD2 mod is finally out today!> Bestiary - Aggressive Enemies and Variants
https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma2/mods/1196https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxppPfgfe7o [Embed]This mod doesn't just simply increase "enemy aggression" and introduce a few new palette swap enemies...It completely overhauls enemy movesets (especially of bosses).
The properties of "vanilla" movesets have been heavily modified - attacks generally come out faster, enemies string together more diverse combos, some moves depend on the creature's state, there's entirely new attacks and even extremely rare existing moves are now much more common.
The new enemy variants have their own abilities, quirks and even spawn points, not to mention alot of enemy encounters throughout the game world have been changed as well. The purpose of this mod is to make combat more engaging by pushing players to use their full arsenal (including Pawns).
As such, some enemies are designed to be much more difficult than their vanilla version, giving their appearance during the game much more weight (look out for Chimeras, they are no longer a pushover and shouldn't be challenged in the early game unless you want to suffer :D).1/2
