Whew, barely had any time at all to get my morning's grind in lately. These servers are (theoretically) a marathon and not a sprint, I get it, but it still feels as if I'm falling behind by a good bit.
Nonetheless, managed to complete my Bone Armor set for a very welcome +CON (and +SPR) boost, as well as two pieces of the Shade set, perfect for Archers. Also totally lucked into securing a Viper Bow - of all things - finishing the synth off with some generously-donated Obsidian for the task (many thanks again!).With all of these upgrades, I'm finally able to solo... The Level 75 dungeon. At Level 218, C9.
Yeah, you're really expected to group-up for Dungeons on Seeds. Which is fine - this IS an MMO after all - but it's far from convenient for those who play during odd hours, when most of the server has gone quiet.Quite interested to invest more in my Cleric and Wizard for some variety, but there is no denying just how important Archer is towards getting a foothold on Seeds.
Cleric's offensive potential is rock-bottom here, in large part due to their damage output simply not scaling well at all against monsters' greatly inflated HP values. They're practically required to be tethered to a party at all times to get anything done, and as a result, there's hardly any of them around (not that I blame them).
Tanks in general are in a similar boat, with damn-near every Swordsman I've come across just running offensive circles, outside of some occasional experimentation with Peltasta. While it /is/ feasible to reset your stats and classes (thankfully), it still takes a bit to get back in shape after-the-fact. Fixing your stats and skills, re-assigning those skills, manually speaking with each individual Class Trainer to re-unlock and re-level your Attributes, et cetera. The option for flexibility is there, it's just inconvenient and time consuming.
Still far better than the official client, surely, but there's room for improvement all the same.
