The worst thing about Lao was the gatherer pro + bomb damage meta being the best way to hunt it. You barely interacted with the monster until the last 5-10 minutes when all your cannons were used up As long as that is removed, it should be fun

Dear Diary.Today I came back to the Forbidden Lands after some much needed vacation in foreign lands.I hunted a couple of strong monsters here with both familiar and new faces. Of course Vull the modern best Charge Blade hunter I know was there to help me out along with Thecla and zetta0 something. We hunted monsters that are native to these lands like Nu Udra and Rey Dau. After those hunts some looney tunes thing happened where one hunter disappeared then another hunter appeared then that hunter disappeared then the previous hunter appeared it was a bit odd and strange but not weird. I guess oddities and strangeties are to be expected in the /mhg/ Guild. I then hunted a Gore Magala and Uth Duna with some new hunter faces! Kat and Iris. The latter having her entire eyes covered and I wonder how she can hunt in them, then again I guess you can close your eyes and pray and you can kill anything with a Heavy Bow Gun. Kaiju was also there but I did not get a chance to hunt with her and a hunter I've not had the pleasure to meet name Siv.I would have hunted more but my bones suddenly feel chilly perhaps due to the weather. I just want to get under a blanket and rub my toes. Oh I did over hear some of the wyverian scientists talking about a boost laser or something. Huh I guess the guild is making new weapons? Probably based on the materials we collected from Gogmazios. The rooms are bit low in population right now perhaps other hunters needed some break too and went back to the New World or Old World to visit families or their villages but I have this odd feeling that they will be called back to service soon. I keep having nightmares about a strange drome like bird wyvern covered in tarI can't wait to have more adventures here in the Forbidden Lands.
