To Blackclad anon: I don't know what your build or investments are, but I doubt you have max inner ways or anything similar due to you sounding like you picked up the game more recently.Anyway, my advice to speed up that zzzzzzzzzzzz tier fight would be to pick as many mushrooms as you can. Max out your poison divinecraft if you haven't already. Try unlocking new divinecraft recipe for it if you can. Even if you can't, standard poison alone should do the trick of helping you destroy her fucking qi and get that fight out faster. It will still take time, especially since I doubt you are on everything max, but should be somewhat faster to get trough to that slog of a fight. Or, as some anon said, switch to gauntlet shit. Even at minimal investment, it should do some damage if you spam special enough to speed that boring fight. Or just don't even bother. You're only missing out on one boss fight after her which is o.k. at best, another hp sponge battle at worst. Except he hits far harder than her. Either way, you are missing out on nothing.

The difficulty of bosses varies greatly depending on your weapons and of course anything below legend is a joke. Your gear/inner ways/mystic skills also play a massive role. Fight with her in total should last under 5 minutes (less) this way over having 5 minutes for just one fucking phase.

My main issue with the progression caps is how they cockblock trying a different path. At this point most players have a second maxed set of inner ways they can convert around but you also need to make a full set of new gear and that's weekly and RNG capped. I want to play drunken fist but I need to wait weeks to make a basic set of gear. The reroll stones are also shared so you're shafting your main path's progression too.

Anyone else notice/think the gauntlet (or at least drunk gauntlet) parry timing is significantly different to that of other weapons? I swear to god it's like the timing is entirely different, not just the parry window. I'll swap to the twinblades and parry every boss attack but the second I try, with the same timing, on the gauntlets I just get hit like I wasn't even close to timing it right. And twinblades have one of the strictest parry timings. This isn't really an issue in arena but I definitely feel it against bosses.

Tankchad here. I can't decide on my last PvE inner way. I've tried maxed battle anthem, throat piercing art, seasonal edge, light and shadows alike and envigorated warrior on the dummy extensively but the results are very inconclusive and there doesn't seem to be any real difference. I guess it mainly boils down to the basic stat the inner way covers that you're lacking from gear (crit/affinity)? Seasonal edge seems to be the most interactive and fun one and you can trigger it with serene breeze now.

Majority including myself, can speed breeze trough his first phase by being completely aggressive with only some parrying in between. Second phase? Good fucking luck with that! It's not only his own aggression in that phase, but damage being far higher compared to first phase, as well as his HP being bigger. Not to mention that yellow attacks are not only very present in this phase, but are far worse because you can barely even see them (due to all visual effect stuff going on) before you get a chance to properly react at them.

The reason why 1st phase or even middle one if there are 3, are bound to appear more "easier" compared to last even if they aren't is due to you being forced to actually learn these phases compared to last since you will interact with them way more. Every time you lose, this is where you will be back at. So of course you will actually activate your brain to learn it as much as possible. To look for everything that would make it easier for you. This is why you many so many barely need any healing in said first phase compared to second one; because you know it much better due to being forced to know it better.It's basic human psychology here for us to try harder and pay attention when we are forced to do so compared to when feel like we aren't. Learning last phase of any boss in our brain feels like unnecessary thing. So many don't even try to truly learn it properly and it mostly comes down to random bullshit go while keeping yourself alive. After all, all it needs for it is just to work since it's last phase after all. You know that there is nothing waiting for you if you do it so you don't care how many bottles you waste, which in turn makes you not pay that much attention or feeling a need like you have to learn.I'm speaking from my own experience here. Now, I'll say that in case of lone tyrant, even after finishing Abyss clear for him, yes. I'll give my vote to second phase being much more rng dependent even after being forced to learn everything as best I could to get that hitless badge for him. The best way I managed to do it is to keep being in corner with him. That came with it's own issue, but it reduced a chance for him to do his stupid dragon ball move that you all are mentioning. Which is by far the worst one in his entire second phase moveset since 1) it can come with almost no warning 2) it does shitton of damage and if even one touches you then chances for you to get away from rest are almost non existent.
