at one point it just becomes meaningless number go up
leveling performance from 0 to 100 is exciting as you see progress and unlock shit
leveling to 11110 takes 100,000x as much time and effort and you feel no progress or excitement

Right now, there isn't one. And the developer is probably fucked in the head and keeps focusing on adding loads of really small but pointless shit that really adds nothing to the game instead of focusing on adding stuff that actually matters.If you look at the patch notes of the game, it's always stuff like "Added blue capsule (rape) drug" or "added churyu (a cat treat)" or rarely "added hamster animal" or "you can sheer slimes".
None of this adds anything meaningful to the game, but that is all the updates have been since the game was released years ago.

Is it worth buying even though it's still in early access? I like RimWorld but I'm looking for a sandbox game where I can actually play as my self-insert.
