The ones that aren't spazzy ninja flip bullshit. Elden Ring looks like an MMO.

All time? Ishin.
Friede is too rage inducing. The old man is a dance.

Does the headless ape in Sekiro count? The fake out is kino.

DeS: Maiden Aestraea
DaS: Sif
DaS2: none, all bad
BB: don't particularly care for any of them either
DaS3: all feel the same too
Sekiro: Genichiro
Elden Ring: Malenia (still haven't played the DLC though)

Heolstor, the Nightlord. I just love the way he moves and the sheer cinematic factor of his attacks since he's got to threaten three enemies arrayed around an arena at all times.

For me Sister Friede was by far the hardest boss of the trilogy. And some bullshit DLC optional bosses from DS2 but they don't count (Blue Smelter Demon, Lud and Zellen, Fume Knight)My all time favorite FS boss is Rennela, though. The entire boss fight is just a piece of art.

DS1: Manus, Artorias HM because it's funny fighting him nowadays and he's super easy but back then he raped the average DS player
DS2: Hard choice because they're all pretty bad (Sir Alonne especially) Burnt Ivory King because it's kino getting the remaining knights together to jump into the heart of chaos and seal it away for good while they valiantly sacrifice themselves to remove the gates
BB: Ludwig and it's not close
DS3: Pontiff, Friede, Gael, Midir, Soul of Cinder, impossible to pick a best when they have so many heavy hitters
Sekiro: Guardian Ape because he's what reminds you again that you're playing Sekiro and not DS and then you start parrying his monkey moves
Elden Ring: Dancing Lion (Ludwig-like boss) Rellana (Pontiff mk2) or Mohg (the exact opposite of Malenia in that he's a good optional endgame boss, unfortunately butchered by the dogshit DLC lore)

>Feels like a rival player and tries to actively avoid getting caught or punished by simple shit
>becomes a test of skill in second phase
>Hard filter designed to keep you from going further if you can't figure out the core combat
>Interesting sidequest and tragic lore related to him
>Can be made way easier by players who explore and pay attention to what they find
>Coolest motherfucker in the entire game by a wide margin

this fight is literally impossible at SL1 without just relying on 1/1000 chance you get good rng and im tired of pretending its not
A
Anon10/24/26, 22:19No.750293013
In retrospect? This guy, 100% genuinely. There's no enemy that gives you greater sense of mastering these games combat. You move from getting rolled by him for hours when you first start the game to pissing and shitting all over him by the time you start your second/third run.

The first two phases are fine but you have to actively gimp yourself to get a real fight from phase 3, because if you just stand at a medium distance she'll do her jump attack over and over, and you can just walk underneath it for a free backstab.

I love Demon Prince. It's my favourite boss fight in Dark Souls III and I think it's the best duo boss fight that Fromsoftware has ever done.

Not a huge fan of Dark Souls 2 overall but Fume Knight is the most satisfaction I've derived from a boss fight in the entire series

DeS: they're mostly puzzles so there's none I'd particularly like to replay
DS1: Manus
DS2: Fume Knight
DS3: Friede, Midir a close second
Bloodborne: Orphan

It has to be Genichiro Ashina for me. His boss fight made me stop playing Seikro like a dark souls game. It feels so good when you get his move set down and it clicks on how to use your tools. Wolf feels so weak at the start of the game but after this fight he feels like a true threat.

A
Anon10/25/26, 06:07No.750313439
Only played every game once and blind
Ds1: Gaping dragon. Shit boss fight, but the moment everything clicked for me so kino memories as a
Ds3: Deacons of the Deep or Champions gravetender + wolf as a magefag
ER: Just got to the capital and hate every bossfight so far apart from Radahn (kino) are there any good upcoming ones?

Probably still just Gael. Definitely a bit too easy but I'm a sucker for presentation and themes and such
Heolstor almost snatched the chain but I like the latin lyrics of Gael's theme too much

Pre-nerf version. I like Malenia too. Good bosses should reward players who use multiple defensive techniques instead of just roll+r1.

>Storm King
>Moonlight Butterfly
>Demon of Song
>Rom the Vacuous Spider
>Curse-Rotted Greatwood
>Sentient Pest
I just adore FROM's weird and subtly horrifying creature designs. I wish there were more areas like Darkroot Garden that were populated with bizarre wildlife.
