I think it was dead from the announcement since it's a 1to1 quest 3 competitor that only really excels at not being a zucc machine. Ppl who want to get into VR will get something cheaper with similar specs, people that want to upgrade will pass it for something with better specs.

It was going to be like 800 bucks, with the new prices of hardware it's more like 1500. After the steam machine failed they have no real reason to ever launch this.
