incase you newniggers don't know, zelda looks halfway decent, but a lot of people everywhere are seething nonstop over it. I honestly could take it or leave it, but I want to settle some shit for people who hate it. A lot of people are just dismissing the art style and, while I can agree on some aspects, I want to shill a basic narrative because if you ask me, shit talking the art is the least of the problems that I've seen in the game so far.
here are some unassailable facts
>Most of the characters are on model
with some exceptions, almost all of the characters look exactly how they should, even if the original oot engine glow up makes them look goofy
>kokiri looks liek a rug/over designed etc *posts picture of mud brown westoid indie game*
some people already said this but kokiri clothing is now looking a lot more like what you could get just living innawoods, they dont have things like cotton mills in there. and most people in the middle ages did not wear boring piss brown clothes all the time.

Oot the original was loaded with fog and one of the major complaints was nso lacking it. Personally i think the kokiri forest needs a lot more work but probably wont get any of the sparkling magical color dots that justified the thick fog.
There are a lot of twatter complaints but most of you faggots have the correct responses to those.
I want to remind all of the faggots in this thread complaining. GO FUCKING PLAY OoT. I grew up with this game and revisit it, and while im sure some dont like this and have also, plenty of people are just seething over nothing. The worst offenders seem to be to placate anime hating tranny crowds by realismifying the main characters a bit.
what people should be bitching about in your over9000 threads about this trailer is the lack of fucking quality of life and diaper shitting dumb downs visible in the game. the most egregious of which is the C buttons. I swear if we get better graphics but one fucking item button!

it's become clear that most people on /v/ don't hold opinions, they just adopt arguments that they feel they need to repeat in order to fit in
and the problem with doing that is that you don't understand why people say what they say, you just follow the motions, and the result is that they get attached to the hobby of performing the act of pretending to make an argument more than they care about the actual argument
this is how the whole discussion around character designs and in particular female designs has devolved, it went from people noticing female charas who were previously conventionally attractive are getting made ugly on purpose to make ugly bitches less insecure, this was a good and valid argument and is very much true- but people who don't understand this just fixated on it and took it to a dumb extreme and started pretending like every female character that doesn't look like a kpop star is ugly, and furthermore is ugly on purpose for malicious reasons, they're pushing this to a stupid extreme because they never understood the original argument
it's kinda like when stupid people try and pretend they understand cooking so they think food needs to have more seasoning in it, all the time, every time, the more the better, because they heard some chefs critique food saying it's unseasoned a few times and assumed that's the end of that discussion
