We need to at least appreciate that they didn’t make half the NPCs black. It’s the big two six, it’s actually bold to keep everyone as blue eyes white niggas. I still can’t get over Link’s shitty tunic, but the look is starting to grow on me. They could’ve made Zelda BLECK. It could have been so much worse

The tunic is fine. It's nice of Nintendo to show the whole industry how you actually work details into your games. Plus the art style is very much based on dioramas. it definitely has the nostalgic dream like quality Aonuma was discussing.

Ocarina is incredibly redpilled, I’ve always said this. What other modern game has a blonde haired, blue eyed boy taking his kingdom back from an infiltrator from a desert shithole? Said infiltrator then ruins the idyllic Kingdom and makes it unrecognizable to the time traveling hero. For God’s sake, the original fire temple theme had Muslim prayer chants and the mirror shield had a crescent moon on it. OoT is pure nationalist kino. It’s why so many San Francisco “game journalists” love to deconstruct it and push the narrative that it’s “overrated”.
