Morrowind is such a unique and fun experience. A lot more of a slow burn compared to Oblivion and Skyrim which filters zoomers but damn once you get into it, it's unlike anything else in the Elder Scrolls series.

I have TR installed and ready to play, but my monitor is a TV with an HDMI cable plugged into it. It has this auto-dimming feature that I can't disable. When I try to run Morrowind, the screen auto-dims anytime I'm indoors or at nightime. I want to play it so bad, but it's unplayable with the screen that dark. Turning up the gamma in the settings does nothing.

Finally, a Morrowind thread. I can finally point something out that's been bugging me. Everyone complains about early game's stamina issue. People keep going >my speed is low so I have to run >since I'm running, my stamina is low/out and I can't hit anything! >this game sucks! But the thing is that pic related is the answer to the early game stamina issue. Do people really not use scrolls in this game? Pop one of these bad boys, and you basically have infinite stamina for 120 seconds. The scrolls are cheap, and almost every Mages Guild enchanter has a restocking supply of them. Shit like this prove people suck at the game and don't fucking read.

Morrowind really sucks, and that's sad because its RPG systems are far superior to Oblivion & Skyrim.Enhanced Morrwind RPG mechanics with graphics of Starfield and other modern QoL upgrades would make it a GOTY.I love having no mini map or quest marker. Forces you to engage with the world. In games with quest markers and minimaps you are staring at the minimap or compass row 50% of the time and that's really bad.

Been exploring Necrom a bit and talking to NPCs. One of them tasks me with getting sword and ring to the widow of a comrade in arms so I guess one small fetch quest can't be too bad. Turns out he was dead all along and I just delivered his final gift to his wife. Damn. Kinda cheesy but still such a small but cool little quest.

I really love all the work being done on the borderland between High Rock, Skyrim, and Hammerfell. It was really hard to get into it at first, but now that I'm immersed it's really feeling like its own world wholly apart from Morrowind. Of course that doesn't hold up long when most of the exterior work doesn't have interiors or NPCs to match yet. Still, I really like the way the region is being portrayed.
