Game was massively glazed by shill YouTube game reviewers. I’ve played for about 20/25 hours now and have spent 80 percent of my time fighting the same boring ass bear and wolves. They are everywhere, they are as hard or harder to fight than most of the bosses I’ve fought so far. Everything in this game is a “sword sponge” but animals particularly take way longer than necessary or practical on a gameplay or immersion level. The combat is repetitive, way more simple than people are making it out to be for some reason, it’s just parrying with a directional input to get crit hit, spam attack until you have to parry with directional input again and repeat. I think the worst thing overall about the combat though is the developers insist it’s the best thing since sliced bread and don’t give players any option to disengage combat manually in an open world rpg. I like the story though, great writing, some really great classic rpg moral choices. Just cant get over how blatantly mid almost everything else in the presentation is

Most main quests are done although I missed some Xanthe or whatever her name is because I murdered her in the chapel, oops!
