It doesn't. To even build anything, which is the literal only differentiator between this game and BotW, you have to grind for an absolutely retarded amount of materials and upgrade your battery capacity which takes even more materials. And all for what? To avoid walking for a few minutes? To kill a big enemy or two in an incredibly inefficient way? To do a mildly entertaining physics stunt? It doesn't make any sense to even bother engaging with the building mechanics outside of the small handful of times they just hand everything you need directly to you.Even if you ignore the building, it's still a much more stingy game than BotW, you are going to be starved for weapons and arrows the entire game, especially bombs since they're not a built in ability anymore and are incredibly rare to come across. I did every quest and explored every cave and cleared every enemy camp I came across and every single time I had to fight a boss or a bigger enemy I was under equipped and had to turn around and leave to scavenge for shit. Game feels like it was made by Jews.

The climb to the air temple is my favorite moment in LoZ even if the rest of the game is just ok.
The descent to Ganondorf was also really cool.
This game knows how to make the approach awesome and it's a shame the "dungeons" aren't as good.
