Xbox never had credibility, it just used marketing to convert the normalfags and used those normalfags as peer pressure to lean on people with standards.
It failed when it tried to use marketing on people with standards and those people used peer pressure to unconvert the normalfags.

they simply had strategic business errors that accumulated
not having focus on 1st party studios to expand lineup was bad when sony did it and people bought ps4 to get the better games
then series X was great, but people with ps4 wanted ps5 for the cross compat even when the device hardware wasnt better in any way
