I liked Terraria a bit more than I liked stardew valley. Will I like them?

I found spawning later bosses in Core Keeper a bit too grindy so I just stopped at some point
I played Necesse up until I ran out of content, but that was probably 2-3 years ago

Necesse just went 1.0 and if I'm not mistaken has a more cohesive world (EA it was split up into zones). Core Keeper seems like a low rent survival crafty grind, haven't seen it do anything impressive yet but has decent quality of life features for that kinda game. Not sure either of them are Terraria quality but Necesse seems like a better option for co-op

I played both, they are both average, nothing close to terraria.Also I played both on hard making for maybe not the most enjoyable experience as you get two shoot by most bosses.Necesse might be the better of the two and has a end game with random maps and very hard bosses.

Necesse is good until it isn't. The standard progression is pretty fun, though it felt like the summoner class falls off real quickly the closer you get to the end. Then you're dropped into what might as well be PoE maps and it fucking sucks. Was super disappointed that that was what the endgame ended up being.
Core Keeper just sucks. If you're not playing a melee class there will be no good weapons or armor for you. The other classes (again, especially summoner) feel so quarter baked and tacked on that they shouldn't be taken seriously. The automation was lackluster, traversal sucks, base building was pointless. Core Keeper needed like 2 more years of dev and someone to just stand behind the dev and smack them everytime they go to add something else pointless to the game instead of tightening up what's already there.

I played Necesse, got over 90 hours from it, got through almost all the base game (deep desert), had village with all villager types, it was around 0.7-0.8 I think (pre orange biome, plains?).
It's jack of all trades so depending on which part of it you like you may find it lackluster, I personally think it should focus on village building and villagers mechanics more. It is still supported so might wait for sale and future patches if you're not sure.
