Just create a manual save immediately after finishing Chapter 1 or learn to accept the game on its own terms. All this bitching about RDR2 not being a game that it never tried to be. Go play something like Call of Juarez: Gunslinger instead.

actually this is when the story was actually good, there was a sense of urgency and tension in the story and there was a sense of surviving. then you start going to gay pride parades and slaughtering towns full of white folks and the story falls fully off the rails
