ZenMarket has changed its policy regarding packages' storage.
Now they'll automatically dispose your already paid packages after 90 days when they could simply charge you for every extra day of storage.
It's very annoying considering there may be cases when you are waiting for some items to be released while your previously purchased items hit the limit of free storage days but paying for a few days of storage would still be cheaper than paying for two separated shipments.

I spent the last week going through all my yuri stuff partly to try and clean up and organize, but also just to enjoy taking the time to look through it all again. It is incredible how many amazing pieces of art have been made over the years. Also amazing how much yuri collects over the years. Having big box full of yuri tapestries and other yuri merch makes me sad at how difficult it is to properly appreciate it all without an art gallery sized building to display it in.

Japan is currently at 15% tariffs so expect charge additions from the carrier anywhere from 15% to 80-200$ per item (if undeclared) plus carrier fees for collection based on the current reports. I didn't notice there was already enough material for a second volume of Gentei kanojo, it's nice it's went over two volumes when everybody thought it was just a short series, it deserves a lot more volumes.
I already avoided the first NTR anthology and I saw husbands/boyfriends in the preview images posted on twitter so I'm going to skip this pathetic excuse to sell hetshit as yuri too.
I still don't know what to do with 超深宇宙より愛をこめ. Both story and art are terrible, I wish Yuri Hime would use their resources better. Maybe I'll wait until it'll be inevitably and deservedly axed.
For Bad Girl's artbook I'm going to wait for scans to check if it's worth it or if it's just solo illustrations.

I'm moving some yuri around and felt like trying to take a picture to illustrate how much yuri fills the world every day. This is only about half a box of yuri doujinshi in front of a few switch games I stood up for perspective. They are extremely heavy compared to tankoban, and I currently have 9 boxes of yuri doujinshi so moving them around to look for specific ones I want to read is a pain since there is no easy way to categorize and sort them.

In the end I used Goody Japan for my proxy order this year.
Starting from the end, well, it did its job since I got my stuff. 166 € of goods + 245 € of shipment/fees.
I chose it because the fee per order instead of the fee per item other sites have, anyway I don't understand why it isn't a fixed fee but it increases depending from the total amount of the items' price.
They make you list all the item from a single store (it's nice they count all the used items from Amazon as a single order despite being sold from different sellers) and you have to pay immediately the total amount of the items for the order to be placed, so you don't know how much it will cost you for the shipment and the fee. ZenMarket before of accepting the order checks the items, add the cost of the shipment and the fee and it shows you the total amount so you know how much it will cost before of paying, but with Goody Japan you may have bad surprises if sellers charge you a crazy amount for the local shipment.
After you place the order you receive a confirmation email but you don't get any update on your order, like if it's been bought or if it's been shipped, you only see when it finally gets received (it took a whole week).
I tried to enquiry them using the form on their site and I got no answer while ZenMarket replies in a few hours.

This is one of the boxes I use to keep all my yuri doujinshi. I just got a few more in so now I have about 10 just like this one completely jammed full of yuri. I pulled one out at random for the picture since there is sadly no good way to showcase all the covers at the same time without tipping the whole box over onto the floor. How can one appreciate all this yuri when it is locked away in boxes? It is a question I often struggle with often.

Does anyone still collect English Blu-ray/DvD's and manga?I've been collecting them for the longest time, but i'm getting really tired of a lot of series never getting released physically or having their license sat on for forever (fuck CR). I used to have a list for DvD/Blurays i was waiting to be announced, and it had about 25 yuri entries alone before i stopped using it. Then english manga will sometimes just stop halfway through a series for some reason too.Frustrating seeing so many holes in my physical collection, and i feel like it's only going to get worse as physical media gets made less and less. Manga also takes forever to get licensed so i always end up with half JP and half EN after switching over. You can still get JP manga pretty cheap (unlike blurays), so i might just replace my EN manga with JP ones. It helps that i also prefer the paper in JP manga more despite supposedly being cheaper material, it just feels better to flip through as the paper is smoother and texture is less noticeable

There are absolutely great bonuses, not even counting how the BD usually has nice art on it and will have small booklets and other cool items to barely justify the extreme cost. My favorite bonus ever was the otherside picnic BD store exclusive which came with framed art. My most utilized age gap good is probably the yuzumori-san acrylic stand from an old yuriten which I've had on a shelf forever. Buyee sucks at packing. Had about 30 yuri tankoban and 30 doujinshi and some other things here and a handful of the books were just floating around in this big box. All those covers bent and obi torn. I like big tapestries but these b2 bars are too long and just that one thing made the shipping so expensive because the box volume becomes gigantic.
