Too much like real life. A woman I crushed on for four years finally went out with me. Immediately wanted to be exclusive after first time together, she had severe mental problems and I couldn't spend more than 36 hours away from her without her visiting the hospital. Gabapentin dependence. I stopped dating her after six months but very gradually making sure she was okay. Remained close friends for a year, continued hooking up sometimes bc I didn't want the sexual rejection to kill her. Felt weird because I wasn't fully consenting. She eventually died of an accidental overdose while I was out of town. This was years ago and I keep to myself.We did both really like each other apart from her being sick and emotionally unstable from the meds. She was really beautiful. But I was having constant panic attacks and it felt like I was battling a demon in her brain that was trying to kill her that was and wasn't her.So I haven't actually watched the movie except for reviews of it. But yeah it messes you up really bad fucking someone to keep them alive. I think the same thing happened to Dave Foley but he had kids.
