Kinda sad that MTV is gone for good. Not that it had any worth in the past 15 years besides that one season of Beavis and Butthead. I always just saw it as a monument to the 80s and 90s and sorta never thought it as something that would go awayWith it gone, and stranger things over, I can't help but feel like the era of 80's nostalgia is coming to a close. About half of the people who were alive for the 80s in America are over 50 years old.The 90s really didn't get it's time in the nostalgia limelight like the 80s did. It had so much going for it too: the rise of the internet, post-cold war hope for the future, talks of going back to the moon, the advancement of CGI in film, shit like the X-files, the transition from 2D to 3D in videogamesI wonder if there will even be nostalgia for the 2010s and 2020s. I can't really see anyone being nostalgic for the last 6 years besides the fact that people were in quarantine were inside all day.
