I've been watching this guy recently. I was heavily into the political scene during Trump's first presidency but I avoided the specific talking heads. I'd seen clips of Nick, but he sorta rubbed me the wrong way. I've been enjoying the clips I've seen of him recently, though. I can't stand the groypers, though. I would never identify myself as such, even if I like Nick. My favourite bit is when he goes off on his own fans for sending him dumb superchats, really funny.

They are. Compared to the sweeping majesty of the First and Second Ages, hobbits entering the picture is like finding a rat turd in your slice of cheesecake. Their existence as a race should have been terminated when the Witch-King of Angmar's forces overran Arnor and destroyed it as a nation. I get why Tolkien made them, he needed a creature unconcerned with the Big Picture and unassuming to carry the burden of the world reluctantly but effectively and none of his other races fit that bill, but from a logical view into the context of Arda, they ought not to have survived Arnor's destruction.
