If you want an honest opinion, I would say southern Brazil. It's generally not very dangerous outside the big cities (São Paulo is extremely dangerous, btw), the women are beautiful and there are a lot of European influenced cities there (idk about Finnish but definitely German/Dutch). Housing is still expensive but generally cheaper than Buenos Aires or São Paulo. There are more women than men in Brazil overall and you could probably find a job teaching English or Finnish at an international school if you are fluent. They also like being seen as the European part of Brazil, so they'd probably eat up your Finnish genes.Pros and cons of other places:>Rest of Brazil Pricey or unsafe. I'd recommend São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro for a trip, though.>Uruguay Safest country in South America. Personally my favorite. It's probably the most European feeling country in South America while still having a distinctly Latino culture. But the cost of living is extremely high and there are a lot of older people here, so it might not be the best choice for you.>Argentina Again, don't listen to that anon, housing is also extremely pricey. The cost of living is pricey. People aren't very friendly either and I genuinely think that's an Argentine thing. If you go to more rural areas, there are mostly older people and you're probably going to need to find a job in tourism.>Chile High prices and I'm going to be honest here: people there are kinda ugly lol. I was like you more then a decade ago but decided to go for Spain, it might fit your criteria because its really hot, and its awesome.If you reach some 1m budget you can try going for a house in Melbourne, so you ll get to spend from dec to march in sunny weather, then come back to europe for the rest of the year if you wish so.

Second, you need to know a couple of things. You were born with the privilege of being a citizen of a country that practices the Nordic model, the least shitty and most tolerable form of capitalism. In Latin America Neoliberalism is the dominant economic system and it's the biggest reason why the region is so poor. The only exceptions to this are Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela (at least before the mutt government kidnapped Maduro like a bunch of third-rate terrorists). They would be lightyears ahead of their neighbors if the gringo government didn't impose sanctions on them. Danger in Latin America is overstated, risk varies widely by country and region. Yes, places like Ciudad Juarez, Tijuana, Medellin and Sao Paolo are extremely dangerous but there's plenty of other towns and cities that are safe. El Salvador, for example went from being the most dangerous country in Central America to the arguably the safest because Bukele locked up all the maras (the only thing that dictator did).1/?

The governments of Colombia, Chile, Argentina and a couple of other countries are completely ZOGed just like the West. The biggest exception is Brazil, which has a non-bought politician like Lula at the helm and is probably your best bet. I'm from Argentina, Patagonia more specifically. Both Chile, Argentina and Uruguay are the safest parts of latin america, including the southern part of Brazil like Rio Grande do Sul. If you look for a warmer climate than over there I wouldn't recommend Patagonia, look up Mendoza, Córdoba or Buenos Aires. Also try browsing Google Maps for small cities or towns around those cities, might be more secure and you can just travel 1-2hs by car some times a month if needed to the big cities.I live in Bariloche, sometimes I even forget my door or window open, just to give you an idea of safety, it's not like a Rio favela at all. But winters might get some weeks where you wake up with 30cm of snow and -10. IMO it's worth it because of skiing, hiking and then you compensate with summers of 20-30C and swimming in the lakes.
