Just wanted to pop in and say fuck y'all racists. Yes, the Philippines is a shithole but that's because of its history, not because Filipinos are racially inferior or some bullshit. The turning point came when Ferdinand Marcos came to power (supported by the US), crushed the Communist guerrillas and installed crapitalism in the country. His regime is widely characterized as a kleptocracy and the worst thing is it didn't end with him: his family still wields immense political influence and regularly wins elections. That's the actual reason the Philippines is a shithole. Went back to the PH for a quick 12 day jaunt (really 11 days since the 12th day was mostly travel). I regret moving away from that country everyday lol. I make 4k USD a month passively but some bad debt (35K USD) made me take a high paying job back stateside (boosting me to around 10k USD a month) but honestly I think I'll work it long enough to pay off my bullshit just to go back. Everything there is just so much better. Even though the work I was doing paid me 18k pesos monthly (didn't even cover rent lol), I got to mingle with famous people and party all the time and meet the nicest and friendliest people I've ever met in my life. Spent my vacation in Manila and was rather surprised how many normie white people are there now with their families on vacation as well.
