I used to sometimes watch a Thailand youtuber called Cheap Charlie Chronicles (had another channel later on, for livestreaming called Billy Blue too). Total sperg, far more than the average youtuber, but he did manage to build a reasonable following. He's been picked up by Kick now and appears to be in Mexico.cheapcharlielive is his handle on there now. Anyway, my point is, if he can do it your average sperg probably has a fair chance if viewers find you interesting enough. This guy has developed some social skills though, but he does claim that he barely spoke as a child.

I'm in the same boat OP. I want to have a travel channel focusing on hiking and outdoors stuff, I've tried filming some content while abroad but it just isn't any good. I'm pretty assburgery and I have social anxiety too so speaking into a camera doesn't really come naturally to me. Any advice on how to get started for real bros?

The only way to win is through volume. As many videos as possible. You will get better over time. 1 long form per week. 1-3 shorts 5-6 days per week. For 3-5 years. Think in terms of inputs.

You can make it. Step 1 is to get comfortable around a camera. Practice by just filming yourself doing your day to day life and talking in private and then slowly start filming yourself walking around in public otherwise you'll just be really shy and awkward. t. aspiring travel youtuber
