These are countries whose citizens are fully banned from entering US. I don't care about politics, I was wondering if there are any rough diamonds that can be digged from this pile? Is any of them livable?
Are there places in any of these countries where you would spend not just few weeks, but few years?

Laos is completely livable. Iran is in a different category as well, obviously it's listed for political reasons.

Ive been to Iran and Laos. Both were more developed and clean than India despite the sanctionson Iran. I don't understand how the Indian government can be so god damn incompetent and terrible. I dont think there's a worse government on earth.

New improved, inarguable top 15 shitholes of the world is actually all African countries. I've had to add a few. I love Africa and the odd, cautious exhilaration I feel travelling and living there but nowhere does shitholes like Africa.
