The aquarium is a famous draw. St Pete has gentrified a lot in recent years, the downtown is worth checking out if you have money and are willing to spend it on dining out and other stuff that overweight retired boomers like to do.

Go to Busch Gardens, hang out in Channelside, go to Ybor for a Cuban sandwich and a cigar, see a Lightning game, visit the aquarium, etc. there is plenty to do.

I would park up by the Glazier art museum and do the Tampa riverwalk down to the east end and continue walking to American Victory Ship & museum and Florida Aquarium which are right next door to each other and fun stops. You get to see quite a bit just by doing that. I guess check if the Straz theater has anything while you're there.
Busch Gardens is fine if you like coasters but if you want more zoo, then Zootampa is better.

My problem with Tampa is it's not actually a tropical city. The only palm trees that can grow more than 1-2 miles from the coast are Mexican fan palms and date palms, which are native to the deserts of Eastern California and Saudi Arabia, respectively.Tampa gets too cold in the winter for true tropical flora, the kind you see in Miami, West Palm, Ft. Lauderdale an Naples. It's just the SAME EXACT humid subtropical marshland that comprises most of the Gulf Coast.So you have this UGLY FLAT SWAMP that a bunch of retards tried to troon out into a tropical paradise by importing desert trees from the other side of the continent, and other retards said "Good enough for me" and moved there.

Where to choose to re-locate, considering between St. Pete in Old NE or Kenwood versus kinda more vibing Tampa life in Seminole Heights or South Tampa.I think beach access would be preferred and would want to avoid shitty bridge traffic.
