I have a lot of thoughts on Funko Pops and Nendoroids. Nendorodoids look pleasant most of the time in the promo images, but trying to pose or play with them I find quite frustrating. That clear plastic stand does a lot of the heavy lifting for the figure and at the same time is an eyesore to me. I shouldn't have to use that to keep the figure from not falling over. Plus the price is crazy. They used to be kind of affordable, but not so much anymore. It is also rare for them to pick characters that don't have mass appeal. And they don't always make everyone you'd want. For example, they only made Mugen from Samurai Champloo. I stopped buying them entirely. They aren't for me.

Funko Pops' entire business model is "This is the only fucking figure this character will ever get".Which is a douvle edged sword because it's fucking ugly, but also... yeah. For a long time it was your only option for things like, say, Scott Pilgrim's extended cast or any post-launch Overwatch character

I must say as much as people hate Funko, PIX is much worse. I bought two to see what they are like- totally awful imo. They are static and a bit bigger than Funko, yet about equal to or less detail for more money. I know /toy/ vehemently hates Funko in general, so I am probably speaking to a wall with this post. Highly don't recommend buying them.
