Wrestling figures were the purest toy ever made because the entire narrative was yours to generate with your hands for hours and you did not know that was writing. What happened is that toys stopped being props for imagination and became screens with a plastic shell, and the box of figures under the bed was replaced by a YouTube video of someone else playing with the same figures, which is the precise moment childhood started happening in the third person.
