The store was asking $220 for him, and I was lucky they gave me enough credit to cover the whole thing. He feels good, but I'd have never bought him outright for that price. And I feel the same about the rest of the Missing Link stuff. In my opinion, they're just priced too high for what you get, he'll probably be my only one.

Outside the Studio Series 86 Ratchet and Black Friday promotion two packs Wal Mart put out last Christmas, I haven't bought a new mass retail Transformer since Legacy started. In fact I have largely switched over to Blockees Galaxy and Defender figures, especially after Frameslop and shitting out garbage characters like the 13 Primes started derailing the line.So when SS86 Shockwave suddenly appeared at my local Walmart, even with the bullshit price hikes, I decided to get it. I hated WFC Shockwave with its kibble and battle damage paint, but even with a proper G1 paint deco, I kind of felt ripped off paying $45 with tax for the fucker.Anyone else feel super fucking cheated with this?

Stupid thought, but what if we ever get a Dark Nova, and he would come with the upgrade parts to convert the large Decepticon characters into their Zone upgrades (to recap, we have Devastator, Trypticon, Menasor, Bruticus, Abominus, Predaking, Piranacon, BlackZarak, and Overlord, though for maybe two of them, they might only be compatible with specific versions like maybe the MPG Overlord or the Adamas Machina Predaking). Onslaught and starscream just arrived. Once I got him on hand i can certainly say the lack of a gun is a shame because like the others I think he could have held up solo with the transformation seeming fun and he felt solid and heavy but now I have them set up as Bruticus waiting for when Swindle finally comes out over here in the UK. As for Scream this is my first 86 seeker and he looks great, glad I waited since he was always my favourite of the seekers as a kid, I didn't know he also had light piping so taking him out of the box only to be greeted with glowing red eyes was a nice surprise.

Another new figure came inCartoon color missing link G1 grimlockSame mold as the toy version. The previously chromed parts are now all painted in yellow besides the tail. I don't see much issues with the paint on my copy, but the yellow does have the problem of weaker paint coverage that you can see the colors under it on some parts2 things this one has going for it comparing to the toy version1. No rub sign, no peeling of the rub sign. The rub sticker on the toy version was peeling right out of the box because it was applied on a curved surface. It already lost part of the heat sensitive. Maybe this is the same with the original toy. I don't know if I should jist remove it all together at this point 2. Stronger lateral outward hip joints. Nothing too strong, but my copy has a stronger hip than the toy version and it does hold its pose better.Which you should get? Toy version looks better but the stronger hips does make the cartoon version slightly better figure.Get both?

Anons how is this toy? reviews heep burning it but i honestly like how it looks. It's a cool white lambo-like car. And i just learned that his personality is nervous paranoid robot... that's basically me. I would feel good owning a transformer i can relate to... having this giant cool robot that is a paranoid schizo just like me.I actually like his spoiler being 1 thing but a partsforming thing...it's much better than spoiler being cut in half.
