Why do they have to look so fucking bored? Akuma is the only cool one because he has expressions. I'm likely getting him for fun and also Chun Li because I'm a Chun Li fag and she doesn't look offensively bad, just bland as fuck. Also, V sign hands for Chun Li? For what purpose? Would've bought Akuma for 28 to use the accessories for other figures but then found out he's more expensive so passing on this line entirely. Every figure is like 7 bucks or so more than it feels like it should be.

Honestly I'd rather have mattel handle it given their WWE figures, or jazwares even but Hasbro it is. I just don't think Hasbro will do anything unique with them or their articulation which is pretty important for figures from a fighting franchise.

They look like jank movie versions, so exactly what they are aiming for. But that doesn't appeal to me. Not sure if giving Chun-Li v-hands instead of open ones for palm strikes and kikoken was the way to go, but I guess they are limited to one one alternate set.
