Reposting this here. I was really looking forward to this but it ended up being really disappointing. I don't care that much about the price, it would've been worth it to me if it came with good accessories and combination potential. But it doesn't. There's not a single new thing here, everything is recycled from some other clone.

I was wondering something. All those people who just come and complain about the ownership of Star Wars. Why.. And where do they draw the line. Because the Mouse owns everything now. Everything that was ever included in the ip including those first promissory boxes. Or, is it a specific manufacturing date of hate? If so go create a "vintage star wars toys" where you and those with similar interests can share the love of what you proport to love. Or do you need that bitterness so you can live? Genuinely wondering.

Oh god I hate those new black series boxes they look so ugly and cheap. The current ones were perfect. And I know some people were asking for that Queen Amidala but it’s probably gonna be like a $40 boring statue that comes with zero accessories that you can’t pose or do anything with because she doesn’t do anything in the movie…

My Thrawn trilogy pack has finally arrived and I got to say, it was a good first experience with the black series line. Thinking about ironing out Luuke's cape but I also kinda like the ragged look like this. Joruus is highly photogenic and Mara Jade is a great figure apart from the extra head, which I can't connect for the life of me, and I'm scared to apply even more force. My only problem is with Luke, he's too lanky, I know he was like this in ROTJ but I think he needs a dark background for him to look good. Also, he's the hardest to pose without looking zesty. All in all, I got a great deal so I can't complain about the price, but after playing with them for a while, I can't justify spending more than 20€ on a figure, so Kyle Katarn and Vader will have to wait for a decent sale. Now I need some bases so they're more secure. Should I just get them from Ali/Temu?

Mr. Stevie started a debate about if TVC should change the kenner cardback or keep it forever and all the big voices in the community are insisting TVC will literally die if they change the packaging.Is that actually a reasonable fear? I feel like the opinions of people who think the sequel trilogy is a "masterpiece" should not be taken seriously. Let's also keep in mind most of the members in these TVC fan communities are insane. They will buy a dozen copies of figures that aren't even army builders to prove a point. And they are constantly seething and screeching about black series and attacking 6 inch collectors and even inventing slurs for them and just generally are extremely toxic and angry online. I don't know if Hasbro should listen to them.

I’m also a big fan of the PK-23 blaster rifle the Pykes used in Book of Boba Fett (*unfathomably* bad show though). It’s just an unmodified VSS Vintorez, but it works because this was an incredibly obscure Russian firearm from the 80s. Similarly to how Han Solo uses a Mauser C96 that just has a little funnel on the tip.
