Fortnite Figures, are they genuinely good?
I found out that Fortnite has figures and being someone who played a bit of it, was wondering what brand makes the best figures for Fortnite especially in 6-inch/15cm height
I am aware of
>Jazwares
>Epic Games (apparently makes their own figures?)
>Hasbro
>McFarlane
So, do you collect Fortnite figs? I know it's a kids' games, mostly, but some of the designs are definitely made to the adult taste.

I don't own any Mcfarlane Fortnire figures, but Hasbro's are easily the best when compared to Jazwares. Sadly Hasbro selection is fairly miniscules when compared with Jazwares', which aren't bad either, but are somewhat more stiff compared to Hasbro's offerings. My favorites from both lines are on Hasbro's side, Ragsy, Midas Rex, and Tntina, and on Jazzwares side, Raptor and Blackheart.

McF had a great lineup but had those terrible ankle joints
Jazwares has better ones, but hinged knuckles may make or break when you want them to hold weapons
Hasbro was perfect, but had the least appealing lineup

McFarlane is out of scale with the other two lines, leaning more towards 7 inch than 6 inch. Thankfully, a lot of the characters they made are larger-than-life or monstrous. So their Ice King, Prisoner and Dire for example look totally at home with the other two lines.Jazwares runs a tiny bit smaller than Hasbro, but generally the figures go together well enough. It's just a little noticeable when a figure like Jazwares' Midas is a tiny bit shorter than Hasbro's Skye for example.Overall, like others have said, Hasbro had the best likenesses and articulation, but Jazwares was around longer and so has the greater character selection.

OP, you're like 8 years late to the party. Everyone had them in stores and was making toys back then. Now? Nothing really. There's not really any active Fortnite toy lines. Jazwares recently started re-releasing some of their older figures but they aren't sold in stores and barely go to Amazon..

Yes but I've never played the game. I'm mostly a Marvel/DC/GIJoe collector. But when Ollies was dropping them a few years ago it was practically a bumper crop of henchmen, goons and whacko designs that made for great display potential. I was also partially inspired by the Joker Gang from the first Suicide Squad movie and thought several of the more outlandish character designs would make for a good Joker gang, which is arguably the only interesting thing that came out of the film.

I have at least a few of each of the ones listed (hell I even have the Mighty Beanz) and can confirm pretty much everything from the other replies. The Hasbro ones look so damn good but were pretty pricey and the selection was small. You'll probably get raped on the aftermarket prices. The McFarlanes are McFarlanes and pretty much what you'd expect. They were the first to make figures and I remember being excited to get Cuddle Team Leader when the first wave was announced. Probably an even smaller selection than Hasbro. Jazwares by far was the most prominent with both the 4in and 6in figures having huge variety and they were pretty much everywhere. Nowadays for some reason Jazwares has the most dogshit distribution imaginable. If they're on the shelf at all it'll be for a day and then they're gone forever, otherwise you'll only find them on the website (permanently sold out almost immediately). No idea why they care so little about meeting demand, especially for their FNAF stuff. I collected their Halo figures too and that was a blast while it lasted, now they're in the same boat as Fortnite and FNAF.

I have the farlane.jazz and hasbro ones.My favorite ones are the Hasbro and Jazz wares. They feel better to pose. The farlane ones are so stiff and feel like joints will break when you are posing them. The ones i own are Lexa.Skie from hasbro. Ultimate Jonesy from Jazzwares and skull trooper and cuddle leader from Farlane.

Jazwares is finally putting out a "new" 6 inch figure (repaint) since re-acquiring the license. It's not much, but it's something. Trying to think of some other repaints that might actually sell.

If they want to be successful they need to start making the furry skins
