What’s going on with Jace in MtG? Is he no longer popular? Latest set having him as the main villain is kind of weird and they couldn’t even let him have a future kid w/Vraska? She needed to be magically created?

It's not about Jace. It's about getting a bland as fuck set so that they can put the final nail in the coffin of anything not Universes Beyond.Story, design, all of it is meant to suck shit. We ran out of antagonists so now one of the heroes has to invent a new dumbass reason to be the next villain. And then imagine a mechanic so laughably stupid like Amass Jace. I don't know what else we're getting, but I'm betting it's not stuff like Recruit from the Hobbit, or Teamwork or Plan-type enchantments from the Marvel set - all of which could have been used here instead. I mean it's been painfully obvious that the quality of shit has gone downhill over time, but goddamn.
