Who should I bring to the party? >A: Almost certainly a trans. Seems autistic and lives through their character. Knows the rules but seems to treat them as suggestion. Probably bipolar. Their "jekyl" side seems to be chill >Y: 100% a furry, doesn't even try to hide it, "friendly". Knows rules. >W: Grognard. Memorized rules. Seems to treat roleplay as a means to gain mechanical advantage. Holds his cards close to chest. Vague. >T: new player. Probably a kid. Mentioned critical role. >H: Retard who wants to hit things with a sword. Trump flags and giga chad poster

Y, W and T. Maybe H but T is basically "Retard who wants to hit things with a sword" already and without the chance of having a /pol/ melty at the table.

W, T, H are your party. A will, at best, make things weird, at most typical be extremely sensitive and require adjusting campaign and setting to align with their values, and at worst melt down and kill the campaign. Y grooms kids and can't be trusted with your pets.

How weird are Y's fetishes? How often does T bring up Critical Reddit or capeslop? How argumentative is W?Y and H are instant no-gos.

T seems the best or at least malleable enough to become not bad with some guidance. A has three red flags, so it's disqualified. It's a matter of time before Y does something weird, but maybe you can have a short campaign before that happens. W doesn't seem awful, but those types will slowly but surely erode your enjoyment of running the game. If you need players to fill the quota, you can keep him until you find someone better. H's bullshit will become overdone after one session.

T and Y. >A Will whine about their character dying. Also that's not Bipolar, that's DiD so they're literally insane. >W Will try to rules lawyer their way into unfair advantage. Won't make a character that fits the game. >H Too stupid to play traditional games. Will drag his shitty politics into everything.the new player who's probably a kid will be more receptive to learning to properly play and if they say it's not like CR show them the post Matt made about not expecting your GM's game to be CR.The furry knows the rules, but won't be as anal about it as the grog, and will at least probably add something interesting to the party.

W and H. Report A and Y to ICE and let someone else raise T.

T easily. W maybe. Skip the rest.

W and T are the only possible good players, and even they have flaws. A, Y and H are all absolute no-go.

A: hell no Y: depends, could be totally fine or a detriment, allow but keep a close watch W: usually a no from me, but compared to the rest here, completely fine. T: of course allow H: no, if i somehow know you are a maga tard on the first session, then you are too political to play with.

A: Hell no Y: Sure! Easily. W: Hell no T: I guess, if I have a seat I need to fill. H: Hell no. If I needed to find three players in order to run the game I would just have to keep looking.

A: Never. Also will not socialize with. Y: Depends on how much they try to insert their furshit into things, or if they give the impression they can't separate fantasy from reality. W: Depends on how disruptive they are and if they're argumentative or constantly breaking verisimilitude. Leaning no. T: Maybe, if they're not annoying and don't come off as a troonsky type. H: No. Will be annoying retard to try to be funny.

Never ever play, socialize, or be near H without holding them at gunpoint.A: they're trans too? We have something common! Y: they're a furry too? We have something in common! W: Mechanics focused autist too? We have something in common! T: Young new player? Hopefully we can help him figure out what his gender was supposed to be, so definitely worth playing with. That's looking like a good 4 player group. Thanks, OP.

>A: Probably a no. Unmedicated bipolar disorder is very annoying to deal with and I feel like living vicariously through a character causes issues in the long run because the player will never put their ass on the line/might have main character syndrome. >Y: How weird of a furry are we talking here? If they just jack off to big bear guys, whatever, but I wouldn't let a diaperfur or some shit into the table. >W: Hard no. I hate guys who view the GM as their rival. >T: Depends on the campaign and how young the kid is. I'm fine with introducing a teen to RPGs, but I'd also feel weird if I was running some grimdark shit. >H: Probably not. Ultra political guys tend to freak out over little shit.

>A Kill it >Y Kill it >W Kill it >T Recruit it, or kill it if it doesn't join us >H Based. Finally someone I get along with. Hopefully he can purge trannies and libtards with me. Plenty of light posts around to share.

>A. Offensive on the eyes, but probably your best pic of the lot for most games. There's a big overlap between trannies and grognard behavior, and if they were the schitzo type, you'd have probably seen it by now.>Y. If forced to play either a non-furry, or a normal looking animal-esque creature, probably okay? Just forbid furry pc's and you're fine. Probably.>W. If your game suits that behavior, good. If not, will probably be miserable despite grognard status. Can't/won't communicate? Cannot into the RP of a TTRPG? Doesn't trust the table OOC? Trust me. Not worth it.>T. Set a good tone and you're sweet. So long as they're not drowning in CR brainrot, new players are often great additions. They've literally never seen anything before, so your game is the best thing they've played, and they take the obvious path in everything willingly, and without the paranoid dithering that more experienced players do.>H. Don't play with retards and memelords. You're not just dealing with retardation, but they're surprisingly thin-skinned (no matter their political orientation), and will break game flow to spout meme jokes as a coping mechanism when triggered. These may be phrased as jokes and 'funny guy' behavior, but it'll ruin your game nights.>Source. Played with all of them.
