Got tired of reading through the aces rules so I called buddy up for a quick and dirty AS death match.
>took his pouncer out pretty quick
>essentially traded my warhammer for his enforcer
>my phoenix hawk took a face full of missiles from his timber wolf and gave his life crippling griffin
>my locust finally ran down that fucking griffin who in turn killed locust with a freak roll as he died
>without locust to kite and spot, my beat up archer was no match for buddy's basically fresh timber wolf
>step out into the open and bukkake each other with missiles
>he got to the river first to spam overheat
>after a comical ammount of misses on both sides he obliterated my archerMy main takeaways are that a missile boat with a quick spotter is a god tier combo, if I wouldn't have lost locust I could have chipped away at his timber wolf all night and he'd be helpless, and socondly FUCK timber wolf.

I assume hyper optimized tryhard builds ruin the game for everyone

the vedette (armour) not only has decent coverage as indicated, but it also upgrades the gun to an ultra class 10. sexy.there's also a list you can make that has C3M vedettes or manticores leading lances of C3Slave lrm carriers. evil.is there even any mech that can survive so many lrm carriers shooting at them with c3 short etc bonuses.
eight lrm carriers is 480 LRM's.

In short, the Manei Domini are the most elite soldiers in the Word of Blake. They are comprised of the most zealous and faithful, those who hold truest to the ideals of Blake and worship him the hardest.
There's loads of different versions of the fuckers, but all of them are cyborged out, highly trained killing machines. Some are infiltrators and look mostly human, with only below the skin cybernetics like enhanced muscles, communication units, hacking equipment and so on, while others are like pic, hulking cyborg monsters with artificial limbs, inbuilt guns, armour for skin, targeting systems linked to their brains and so on that can tank Battlemech shots and are so hard to kill people call them zombies.
The most well known Domini are the ones who control the Mechs of the Shadow Divisions, they're extremely heavily altered and can operate their machine partially with their minds due to a neural interface.
In short, they are fucking BADASS and easily the coolest part of the setting.
