Force org existed to stop nonsense. It made you take troops, limited spam, and ensured armies resembled actual fighting forces instead of tournament-brained clown cars. Losing it turned list building into “stack the most broken datasheet and call it lore.” Balance suffered, flavor died, and the game got worse.

Asking again. Thinking of using my daemons against my buddy's Custodes and was having a look at their Index. They seem quite Greater Daemon focused with the big bois being a key part of your playstyle.
Is there still a place for the humble Daemon Prince? Stats seem good but I was just wondering how they fit into the army and if they're worth it as a HQ.
I'll probably still bring 1 (or 2) since I love DPs but some advice would be appreciated.

10th ed 40k is what happens when GW “streamlines” the fun right out of the game. Every army feels the same, wargear is fake, psychic powers got sent to a farm upstate, and datasheets read like IKEA instructions.
If your faction sucks, don’t worry—a balance patch will fix it by breaking three other armies and selling you more models.
10th isn’t bad. It’s just bland, and somehow still exhausting.
See you next week, I’m playing it anyway.

I'm going to guess you painted it black, and then tried to put straight white on? Ofc that's going to look terrible, you need to progressively build up to it, pure white on black is a no go.Start with black, then do a not so dry brush (not too damp, but perhaps not as dry as normal) with a dark grey, then do a regular dry brush with a lighter grey, then you can finally do a really dry brush with white and possibly repeat that white again depending on the results and how you want it.

I'm still assembling my armies from the ultimate starter set. Over the past 2 days I'm nearly done imperium of man faction with like 2-3 more units left.
Is cleaning supposed to be taking so long? I'm carefully using a hobby knive to cut off the left over snipping points, scraping that point with a nail file scrapper from the tool kit. And looking for mold lines to scrape. I swear each unit takes like 30 minutes to 1 hour to snip, clean, then assemble.
