Back when this game was worth playing and I thought tribal was a good idea, zombies were the goat. the gravecrawler phyrexian altar combo is just solid. (you have no need for more than one other zombie to make it happen)

Why don't you complain about the text less lighting bolts? Well because you played against or with it lots of times to the point that you remember what it does. I miss standard. I missed brewing in it and I even liked rotation since I got to play and brew with new cards. I got some good favorites over the years of things that I would otherwise never touch. This won me the game several times and I'll remember it forever now.
I played from RTR through DOM, stopped because I didn't have the money for it anymore, and now I can't return because I don't like what the game is now.

If I do play, what formats are the most enjoyable?Also, do tourneys care much about card authenticity (i.e. do they police fakes)? the scenarios are either:
