each player selects a real life historical person (who died before the 1980s) and makes an amusing genetic copy.
they play them as sexy teens making their way through a school week while i throw some random 'very special episode' plotline at them, like, its arbor day and clone george keeps trying to cut down trees, and the players have been tasked to keep him busy while the rest of the school sets up.
any time i feel like a story is getting slow one of them get kidnapped by scuddworth, given some random bullshit task or limitation, which causes the story to advance.wesley

The last song I listed to was a mashup of a song Tenacious D and Pick of Destiny and the danger music from Evangelion.
I could make it work, the party is a good-aligned rock band working with devils to fight angels (the devils are willing to help the party because the alternative is the angels take over). The "bosses" of the angels are the ones from Evangelion, while the rank and file soldiers are more like the angels from Bayonetta. The party has devil-powered artifacts including limited time use pilot-able golems, while using Evangelion religious babble to distract the players from the fact that I'm making up most of the lore on the fly.
