Stop posting compressed MKV garbage and re-encoded web-rip slop (i.e. stop spilling the ISO guts). Say no to shitty encoded, ripped, stripped, scrubbed, trimmed, transcoded and remuxed garbage. Most of the internet still relies on lossy garbage that throws away crucial data: original menu structures, multi-angle video, uncompressed audio tracks, hidden easter eggs, trailers, authentic authoring and much more. Sure, that made sense back in the ADSL and 80GB hard drive days when internet was slow and storage couldn't handle ISOs. But that's not the case anymore, and people's habits are just stuck in the past. When you rip movies into generic video files, you lose everything that actually made physical media cool. True 1:1 disc image preservation is locked behind invite-only private trackers. Let's fix that here. Post your dumps, share your archives and keep the raw bits alive. If you rip a disc the wrong way, this is what you're losing: https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Ripping_games#Disc-based For home media playback, formats and emulation, see: https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Home_media_players **Active Sources & Collections:** - **Redump BD & DVD Torrents:** https://minerva-archive.org/browse/Redump/ - **Daily IA ISO Search:** https://archive.org/search?query=subject%3A%22ISO%22&sort=-publicdate&and%5B%5D=subject%3A%22DVD%22&and%5B%5D=mediatype%3A%22movies%22 - **IA Collections & Uploaders:** - https://archive.org/download/dvdisocollection_202605/ - https://archive.org/download/ISOanimationMoviesDVD - https://archive.org/details/@himunbacon - https://archive.org/details/@philippine_dvd_menu_preview - https://archive.org/details/@kunfu2157 - https://archive.org/details/@solarydvdiso - https://archive.org/details/@soumoprovo_biswas - https://archive.org/details/the_lord_of_the_rings_extended_cut_the_fellowship_of_the_ring_dvd9_4_disc_set

hi. didn't realize this was a thing on 4chan, much less something people were interested in. cool.i got ~40 self-ripped disc releases, mostly 4k / bd. totals up to 132 isos. ripped all of them with either anydvd hd or xreveal. should be nearly 1:1, only thing removed is shit like encryption, bd live, region lock, etc. would be happy to share.problem is, how the fuck do i? my upload speed is garbo (4MB/s) so torrents aren't really an option. it totals up to 5.6TB, so i can't really do DDL either.

Holy shit, my thoughts exactly! Took the words right out of my mouth, fantastic job on the OP, here's hoping to a long lasting general that lasts many threads.I've been doing this as a hobby myself, and I've just been using an old version of DVDDecrypter, since ImgBurn and InfraRecorder don't decrypt and the former started getting really sketchy in recent years. The resources you've posted largely apply to games, and Minerva seems to just archive Myrient and not accept anything new. Redump and NoIntro seems to have OS ISOs, Drivers, and bonus discs for collector's editions of games in their DVD & Blu-Ray sections. Basically, am I fucking retarded for using 20 year old software, or is it still just as good today? Also, let's say the ISOs I have aren't entirely adjacent with what's already in databases like Redump or NoIntro. Would they still be welcomed? And where would people go if they want what I have?

Well said. This is why I'm anti-piracy and pro-archival/preservation, huge difference despite being the same crime.

I am looking for the Tamers' movies in their Japanese releases (which are uncensored) and got some extras, but other movies are appreciated as well

Is there a specific name or term for this kind of copy in the scene? a name that doesn't collide with another of similar meaning

You can now play CD-i Digital Video disc images (incl. VCD and CD+G) on these emus. VCD is supported on CD32 emus and 86Box anyway, but full CD-i Digital Video (and FMV games) working is huge.https://youtu.be/6HXOyquKQk8CD-i Digital Video & Digital Video on CD-i Movies >https://minerva-archive.org/browse/Redump/Philips%20-%20CD-i/ >https://www.theworldofcdi.com/encyclopedia/category/dv-on-cd-i-movies/

Oh man, this thread makes me feel *seen*. I've been turning discs into ISOs for years... even UHD BDs, which I ended up shelling out for a few drive for. Gonna have to see if I can get my shit up somewhere...

Completely agree OP. Don't know why people gatekeeper this shit so hard. Also, keep in mind that you can go to your library and borrow Blu-ray's/DVDs and rip them yourself. Your library likely has way more than you ever could imagine.Don't have much but I do have the first 4 seasons of Futurama and The onion movie if anyone would like me to upload them

OP is a retard, DVDs are so ancient the codec used is worse than Xvid. Imagine replacing pixel perfect re-encodes with full DVD for 4x the size. My 4TB movie collection would suddenly be 16TB and would cost 1000$ to hold+backup. But if you care about something real then know this, you have to be very careful when re-encodding a DVD when it has interlacing. Not doing it right losese A LOT of quality.

You interested in porno DVDs in this thread? I like to collect those just because a lot of bts stuff gets lost when people rip individual scenes
